MANSE Opus celebrate the Breaking Ground Ceremony of Prospero Ansty Park’s newest industrial scheme
The Breaking Ground Ceremony for Prospero Ansty Park’s newest industrial scheme, Apollo 69/6, took place last month.

Site work will soon be underway to develop this exciting new scheme which, when complete, will comprise over 241,000 sq ft of Grade A space, split across three high-spec units. Each unit will be available for both B2 and B8 uses, offering complete flexibility for potential occupiers looking to relocate to the centre of the UK’s manufacturing heartland.

It was recently announced that developers Manse Opus agreed a forward funding deal for Apollo 69/6, alongside a JV between a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Canmoor.

With sustainability at the heart of Manse Opus’ schemes, Apollo 69/6 is targeting some of the highest certifications, including BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings. The development will also include electric car charging points and an energy monitoring ‘smart meter’ system. The scheme will also offer a high-quality landscaped environment, staff breakout spaces, improved natural light to office spaces through full height curtain walling as well as a gym/trim trail for the occupiers.

Set in 196 acres, with over 2,300,000 sq ft of business space, Prospero Ansty Park is one of the most significant business parks in England, and is already home to major occupiers including Rolls Royce, Cadent Gas and aerospace giants Meggitt PLC.

Victoria Turnbull, Joint Managing Director of Manse Opus, commented; “We are delighted to be celebrating this milestone alongside our funding partners, Goldman Sachs and Canmoor. Apollo 69/6 will benefit from Prospero Ansty Park’s stellar location with instant access to the motorway and will offer its future occupiers great connectivity and leading ESG credentials. We are very excited to be bringing this new, sustainable scheme forward at the Park.”

Farbod Nia, Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, commented “We are excited that construction has begun on Prospero Ansty Park’s newest industrial scheme. This is a continuation of the growth of our development-focused joint venture with Canmoor, working with leading development partners like Manse to deliver high quality space for our tenants.”.

Tom White, Director at Canmoor, commented “We are delighted to celebrate breaking ground and reaching this exciting milestone on one of the most significant business parks in England, and look forward to continuing our relationship with Manse Opus”.
